Eagle Guard Pty Ltd has announced the expansion of its cognitive rehabilitation and life-skills programs, broadening the scope of support available to NDIS participants, My Aged Care clients, and individuals living with dementia, stroke, acquired brain injury (ABI), and mental health challenges across the community.
The expanded initiative reflects Eagle Guard's commitment to delivering structured, evidence-based care that addresses the full spectrum of a participant's needs — from cognitive function and daily living skills through to social engagement and long-term independence.
Expanded Program Offerings
Eagle Guard's updated programs now cover six core areas of support, each designed to meet participants where they are and help them move forward with confidence.
The organisation's cognitive rehabilitation and dementia therapy programs offer structured sessions targeting memory retention, executive function, and cognitive resilience. These are designed specifically for individuals living with dementia and related neurological conditions, drawing on current clinical evidence to guide each participant's care.
Life-skills development — aligned with NDIS support categories 0106 and 0117 — provides practical, hands-on training to help participants build the everyday skills needed for greater autonomy. Sessions are tailored to each individual's goals, whether that means managing a household, navigating public transport, or developing workplace readiness.
For participants managing anxiety, depression, or behavioural challenges associated with neurological or acquired conditions, Eagle Guard's mental health and behavioural support programs offer evidence-informed strategies delivered by qualified professionals in a safe and supportive environment.
Physical activity and wellness routines form another pillar of the expanded offering. Tailored exercise and wellness programs are designed to improve mobility, strength, and overall wellbeing, with sessions adapted to suit a wide range of abilities and health profiles.
Eagle Guard also provides assistive technology education, guiding participants and their families through the process of selecting, setting up, and making the most of appropriate assistive devices and digital tools — ensuring technology becomes an enabler rather than a barrier.
Rounding out the expanded suite are community participation programs, which support participants in engaging with social, recreational, and community activities. These programs are designed to reduce isolation, build social confidence, and foster meaningful connection with the broader community.
New Resources for Families and Therapists
Alongside its expanded service offerings, Eagle Guard is developing a range of dementia-friendly cognitive tools — including specialised flash cards and rehabilitation kits — designed to support families, therapists, and community programs in delivering consistent, effective care between formal support sessions.
Eagle Guard has also introduced a series of community workshops focused on dementia prevention, early warning signs, and practical family support strategies. These sessions bring evidence-based learning directly to participants and their networks, equipping carers and loved ones with the knowledge and tools to provide informed, compassionate support at home.
A Commitment to Person-Centred Care
Eagle Guard's expanded programs are underpinned by a commitment to individualised, goal-directed support. Each participant receives a tailored plan developed in consultation with their support coordinator, family, and treating professionals — ensuring that services remain aligned with their evolving needs and aspirations.
